Superdelegates to the Rescue!

It's a dark and stormy night in Washington, DC. Senator Hillary Clinton and her husband, Bill, are contemplating their plan to tear apart the Democratic party. But wait! It's the Superdelegates to the rescue! "Form of, Barack Obama!"

According to the AP, the Superdelegates feel the only way for Hillary to win is to tear down Barack Obama and make him look so bad that the Superdelegates will be forced to vote for her. They're worried (duh) that this might make the party look bad.

Here's what the AP story says: "Some superdelegates are bracing themselves to intervene on Obama's behalf if necessary.

'If these attacks are contrasts based on policy differences, there is no need to stop the race or halt the debate," [Donna] Brazile [a Democratic strategist and one of nearly 800 party leaders known as superdelegates] said. 'But, if this is more division, more diversion from the issues and more of the same politics of personal destruction, chairman Dean and other should be on standby.'"
