McCain Campaign: Palin is "Clueless"

If you watch the Couric interview with Palin you'll know why the McCain folks are hyperventilating. (Not that the rest of us didn't already know this). Amid calls from a prominent conservative columnist for Palin to withdraw herself from the race, comes this juicy tidbit from left-wing radio host Ed Schultz:

Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."

Okay, at this point I just feel sorry for her (but in a way that kind of makes me laugh at John McCain. A lot).
