Surprise! Obama leads in Indiana

And Hillary said a black guy couldn't win in Indiana...

An Indianapolis Star poll finds Barack Obama ahead of John McCain 47 percent to 44 percent. Just goes to show you that while Hoosiers may have temporarily lost their ability to play basketball, they haven't completely lost their marbles. Indecision 2008 has this to say of the news:
Obama is in the lead in Indiana, according to polling completed yesterday by the Indianapolis Star.

That's Indiana, as is the state that hasn't voted for a Democrat for president in 44 years. Indiana, which voted 60% to 39% for George Bush over John Kerry in 2004. Indiana, whose record on race relations prominently features murdering African-American encyclopedia salesgirls with screwdrivers.

No word whose ahead in Martinsville. By the way, what's going on in their state seal? Is the buffalo running from the man with the ax or is he helping chop down trees? I'm confused.
